Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
2 1/2 Tbsp. warm water
3 1/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar.
Cut in shortening.
Add milk to yeast mixture and combine with flour mixture.
Knead slightly. Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness; cut.
Place in pan and brush lightly with melted butter.
Let rise 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
