4 eggs, separated
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. all -purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, beat egg yolks until thick.
Blend in lemon juice, peel and butter or margarine.
Combine sugar, flour and salt; add alternately with milk.
Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into batter.
Pour into a 1 1/2-quart baking dish; set in a pan of hot water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serve warm, topped with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
