4-H Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream the Crisco until soft.
    Add the 2 sugars gradually to the Crisco until smooth.
    Have the brown sugar packed down.
    Add the whole egg all at once.
    Add the peanut butter.
    In a separate bowl, sift the flour and soda together, then add to first mixture. Roll into about 1-inch balls.
    Place on unoiled baking sheet. Flatten with a fork both ways on cookie dough and bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes about 30 small cookies.
