Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and butter in 2-quart saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until melted, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Gradually beat in beaten eggs.
    Add pecans and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Pour in 9-inch pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Garnish with pecan halves before baking.
