Tea Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope plain gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
2 carrots
2 sticks celery
2 cucumbers
1 small onion
1 green pepper
2 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
salt to taste

Preparation

Dissolve 1 envelope of gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water.
Put in dish and set in hot water until melted.
Grate carrots, celery, cucumbers, onion and green pepper.
Drain and mix with gelatin. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice and salt to taste.
Let stand 2 or 3 hours.
Spread a thin layer between 2 slices of bread.
Cut off crusts and cut in 4 pieces.
