2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. softened margarine
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. M&M's (12 oz. pkg.)
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Blend in flour mixture; slowly stir in M&M's and nuts.
Drop heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 11 minutes.
Cool 1 minute; place on wire cooling rack.
Makes 5 dozen 2-inch cookies.
