Ginger Cream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/3 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar; beat in egg.
    Stir in molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with water.
    Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    Frost while warm.
