Cream Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water
1 c. sifted flour
4 large eggs
Preparation

Melt shortening in water over high heat.
Add sifted flour, stirring rapidly until thickened.
Put mixture in mixing bowl.
Add eggs, one at a time, blending well after each.
Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 40 minutes in oven set at 400\u00b0.
Let set in oven 10 minutes after heat is turned off.
Remove and slit to let moisture escape.
Do not put in plastic bag.
Serve with ice cream and hot fudge.
Makes 12.
