German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    1/2 lb. bacon
    vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    parsley
    salt
    pepper
    1 onion
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins, cool, peel and slice in cubes.
    Put in a large bowl.
    Fry bacon until crispy; drain on towels.
    Leave grease.
    Cut up onion; fry in grease.
    Spoon on top of potatoes. Also, put parsley, sugar, salt and pepper over potatoes.
    In grease, add vinegar and water; bring to a boil.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Crumble bacon over potatoes.
    Mix gently.
