Appetizer Meatballs In Spicy Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 small minced onion
    1 small minced carrot
    1 small minced potato
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. dry red wine
Preparation
    In a pan combine sugar, sauce, lemon juice, garlic salt and wine.
    Bring to a boil, stirring.
    Reduce heat and allow to simmer 20 minutes.
    Cook onion, carrot and potato; combine with meat, salt and egg.
    Shape into large marble size balls.
    Arrange in shallow pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
    Remove and add to prepared sauce; then stir in juices from meat.
