Special Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    roast (beef or pork)
    1 c. white wine
    2 c. water
    1 onion, sliced
    3 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    6 slices bacon, chopped
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Place roast in roasting pan.
    Add all ingredients to roast, except for tomato paste and wine.
    Dilute tomato paste with wine and then pour over roast.
    Place roast in oven and cook uncovered for 1 hour at 400\u00b0.
    Cook roast covered for an additional 1 1/2 hours at same temperature or until tender.
    Add water as needed, if roast gets dry.
