Candied Orange Peel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium orange peelings
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Soak peelings in salt water overnight.
    Cut peelings in strips.
    Boil and pour off water 3 times.
    Mix sugar, 1/2 cup of water and peelings.
    Heat until sugar dissolves.
    Cook slowly until peel is translucent.
    Drain.
    Roll in sugar and dry on rack. Store in airtight can.
