Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    6 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine 1 1/2 cups sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Gradually stir in boiling water and cook 15 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
    Mix together the slightly beaten egg yolks, lemon rind and juice.
    Add to sugar-water mixture and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter when slightly cool.
    Turn into baked pie shell.
    Cover with meringue made by gradually beating 1/2 cup sugar into stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until meringue is evenly browned.
