Never-Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar in a bowl until fluffy.
    Add the sugar gradually and beat until stiff peaks form. Add the vanilla and beat well.
    Spread on pie so that meringue touches edge of crust.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown.
