Lo-Cal Fruit Trifle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. (4 envelopes) D-Zerta whipped topping
1 pkg. diet vanilla pudding (not instant)
1 can unsweetened Mandarin oranges, drained
rum extract
1 large can low calorie fruit cocktail, drained
1 large can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained
1 sponge cake or 1/2 angel cake
sherry wine (optional)
Preparation

Prepare according to package directions.
Refrigerate for a short time so whipped topping will harden.
Break cake into small pieces; place in a large glass bowl.
Dribble a little sherry over the pieces of cake, if desired.
Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package directions.
Add a few drops of rum extract to the pudding.
Pour slightly thickened pudding from the pan on top of the cake pieces in the bowl.
