Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, butter and sugars until fluffy.
    Beat in egg and vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture until well blended.
    Shape into small balls.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Dip bottom of glass into a mixture of cinnamon and granulated sugar; press into shape.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
