Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put first four ingredients in top of double boiler (over boiling water) and mix at high speed with mixer for 5 to 7 minutes.
    Then remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Continue to beat until smooth.
