Rice With Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pt. water
a little salt
3 heaped Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. lemon flavor
8 oz. rice
5 medium-sized apples
sugar and cinnamon mixture
Preparation

Put salt, sugar, butter and flavoring into a pan with the water and bring to boil.
Sprinkle in the washed rice, add the peeled, cored and sliced apples and simmer gently until done.
Add sugar to taste and serve with sugar and cinnamon.
Cooking time, about 45 minutes.
