Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. hash browns (8 count)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 small onion, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3/4 stick butter
    6 c. Rice Chex cereal
Preparation
    Layer hash browns in long Pyrex dish.
    Sprinkle grated onion and salt over potatoes.
    Combine soup and sour cream.
    Pour over potatoes; spread evenly.
