Chili Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 clove garlic, sliced
    2 medium green pepper, sliced
    4 Tbsp. hot fat
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (No. 2) can kidney beans
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    dash of thyme
    dash of marjoram
Preparation
    Cook onion, garlic and green pepper in fat until soft.
    Put to one side of skillet.
    Add meat, stir until brown and crumbly; add vegetables and seasonings.
    Simmer 1/2 hour, stir occasionally. Serves 6 to 8.
