Cabbage Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, shredded
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. American cheese, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    1/2 c. bread crumbs, mixed with butter
Preparation
    Boil cabbage in salted water 5 to 7 minutes until just tender; drain.
    Combine soup, milk, cheese, salt and pepper in saucepan. Heat slowly while stirring constantly until cheese melts.
    Combine with cabbage.
    Place in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with crumbs mixed with butter.
    Bake 15 minutes until brown and sauce is bubbling.
