King Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer, stewed and boned
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    10 flour tortillas
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes with green chiles
    chicken stock
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    garlic salt to taste
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Combine chicken, onion and green pepper.
    Layer alternately with tortillas (which have been dipped in hot stock, just long enough to soften) in shallow 3-quart buttered casserole.
    Top with cheese and sprinkle with chili powder and garlic salt.
    Add in order:
    chicken soup, mushroom soup and tomatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
