Rice And Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Basmati rice, washed
    1 medium chopped onion
    4 chicken thighs, skinned
    2 c. water
    salt
Preparation
    Add water to rice in 3-quart pan. Add onion and start cooking. Place thighs on top and cook on medium heat until water has cooked down to the rice.
    (If rice is still hard, more water can be added.)
    Complete cooking on low heat until chicken is tender and rice is soft.
    The rice will not be dry, about 45 minutes.
