Fresh Pear Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. peeled and sliced pears
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. sugar with 1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. sugar with 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

In a saucepan, place pears and sugar with cinnamon, orange juice and oleo and cook until pears are tender.
Then add the sugar mixed with cornstarch and cook until slightly thick.
Pour into unbaked pie crust.
Place pie crust strips across pie and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until brown.
