Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
dash of salt
9-inch pie shell
Preparation

In a bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
Stir to mix.
Add apples and toss to coat.
Dump apples in pie shell and shake gently to settle.
In the same bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, flour and salt.
Use a pastry cutter or 2 knives and cut mixture until resembles coarse corn meal.
Heap on top of apples in pie shell.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
