Mama'S Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box pineapple or yellow cake mix
    1 large box vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped pecans
    4 bananas, sliced
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Bake cake.
    Let cool.
    Take 1/2 cake and crumble into punch bowl.
    Mix pudding and add 1/2 to bowl.
    Add 1/2 pineapple.
    Add 1 can cherry pie filling.
    Add 2 bananas.
    Spread 1/2 whipped topping.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans.
    Start over and repeat entire process.
    Add cherries on top.
    Cover.
    Place in refrigerator.
    Best when made a day ahead.
