Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 medium-size potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 medium onion, sliced and broken into ringlets
    12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup, diluted with 1/2 can of water
    salt and pepper
    margarine
Preparation
    Boil potatoes for 10 minutes.
    Layer in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
    Cover each layer of potatoes with onion, cheese, salt, pepper and pats of margarine.
    Top with soup.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
