Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep dish pie crust, baked
    1 qt. fresh strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced
    1 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. water (hot)
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 container whipped topping
Preparation
    In a 2-quart saucepan, stir the jello and the hot water.
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 4 tablespoons cornstarch.
    Add to the hot jello. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat. Cool in refrigerator about 1/2 hour.
