Carolyn'S Double-Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. soft shortening
Preparation

In bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
Stir sugar, half of flour and salt into yeast.
Beat with spoon until smooth.
Add egg and the shortening.
Beat in rest of flour.
Cover with cloth.
Let rise until double.
Grease 12 muffin cups.
Stir down raised dough. Spoon into cups, filling 1/2 full.
Let rise again.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Can sprinkle before baking with poppy or sesame seed.
