Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh squash
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. grated mild Cheddar cheese
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2 large chopped onions
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender; drain.
    While hot, add cheese, butter, bread crumbs and onions.
    Stir; add canned milk.
    Stir; pour in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
