Glazed Sweet Potatoes And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sweet potatoes
    2 large apples, peeled and sliced thin
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cook sweet potatoes with jackets on in water to cover until tender.
    Cook, peel and slice lengthwise.
    Layer 1/2 in shallow casserole.
    Add apples and cover with rest of potatoes.
    Melt butter.
    Add sugar and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over potatoes and apples.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until apples are tender, basting occasionally.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
