Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. cooking oil
2 c. unsifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. poppy seed
Preparation

Combine
sugar,
eggs, evaporated milk and cooking oil. Mix on\tmedium speed of an electric mixer until well blended. Sift together
flour,
baking
powder
and
salt.
Add
flour mixture to egg mixture.
Mix a few minutes on low speed.
Add vanilla
and poppy seed.
Mix until smooth.
Pour batter in a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
(Line pan with waxed paper which has
been greased and let paper extend up a few inches on all sides;\tit's easy
to pull away the paper when cake is done). Bake
at
350\u00b0 for
1
hour
to 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Check doneness with wooden toothpick.
