Mincemeat(Deer Meat) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. finely chopped deer meat
1 c. finely chopped suet
4 c. finely chopped apples
2 c. finely chopped seeded raisins
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
2 c. molasses
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. cloves
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
-
Cook the meat; let cool.
Grind the ingredients with the finest grinder.
Add about 1 1/2 cups meat stock or water to start boiling.
Add more, if needed.
Mix all together; simmer slowly for 1 hour.
Put in jars; put in pressure canner and process.
