Old Timey Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl.
Pour in milk and mix briskly with a fork, just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Drop dumplings by heaping teaspoonfuls into boiling kettle of liquid.
Cover kettle snugly.
Cook for 12 minutes exactly (no peeking).
