Fanny Farmer Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can evaporated milk (13 oz.)
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. chocolate chips
    1 oz. baking chocolate
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 1 1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar and milk in 2-quart saucepan.
    Mix well over medium heat.
    Bring to boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
    Stir well until dissolved.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Makes 5 pounds. Can be refrigerated if cool.
