Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. fat
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 c. low calorie catsup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. liquid sweetener
    pinch of oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place fat in heavy pan.
    Add 1 tablespoon water.
    Add onion and brown.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer over low flame for 1 hour.
    Remove garlic from sauce.
    This sauce may be used for basting meat or chicken while cooking or as a hot dip for meats at the table.
    Contains 240 calories.
    Each tablespoon has 9 calories.
