Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 c. oleo
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    6 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Measure sifted flour.
    Cream oleo and sugar well; add egg yolks.
    Beat until mixture turns a lighter color and fluffy.
    Add soda to sour cream; alternate with flour to the sugar mixture. Beat egg whites stiff, but not dry.
    Gently fold into cake batter. Add vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake in preheated oven, 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0, for 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 1/2 hours until cake springs to touch.
    Turn out on cooling rack to cool.
