Liver Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. calf liver
    several large soup bones
    onions
    celery
    salt and pepper to taste
    flour
    rice or noodles (optional)
Preparation
    Cook soup bones to make broth.
    Add onions, celery, salt, pepper, etc. to taste.
    Grind liver in meat grinder.
    Add a little salt and pepper and enough flour to hold it together. Strain the soup broth. Return to pan and bring to boil.
    Drop by teaspoon little dumplings of the ground liver into the broth and cook until done.
    If you like, you may add rice or noodles.
    We like the rice.
