Low-Fat Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 egg whites
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In large mixer bowl, beat brown sugar, sugar, butter and applesauce until smooth.
Beat in egg whites and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in oats, raisins and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 or 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 or 13 minutes to a crisp cookie.
Cool for 2 minutes.
Remove from baking sheets; cool on wire racks.
