Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pt. strawberries, washed, hulled and drained
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    2 c. water
    6 tsp. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1/2 tsp. red food coloring
Preparation
    Bake 2 pie shells and let cool.
    Place 1 pint of strawberries in each shell.
    Combine in saucepan the sugar, cornstarch, water, Karo syrup and vanilla.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cook until thick over low heat, stirring constantly.
    Add 1 package of strawberry Jell-O and red food coloring.
    Pour over berries.
    Place pies in refrigerator before serving.
    Serve with whipped cream.
