Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. baking soda, salt, baking powder and cinnamon
3 tsp. ginger
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk (sweet or sour)
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. Crisco
Preparation

Mix and
sift dry ingredients.
Put molasses and shortening in saucepan and heat slowly until shortening is melted and mixed with molasses.
In mixing bowl, beat eggs.
Add milk and molasses mixture and dry ingredients.
Mix well. Bake in well-greased sheet pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve plain or use whipped cream or caramel or lemon sauce. This is delicious.
