Cheesy Beef Or Turkey Stuffed Peppers(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large green peppers, cut in half lengthwise
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 egg
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. shredded process American cheese
Preparation
    Place peppers in a 2-quart (12 x 7-inch) glass baking dish; set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients, except shredded cheese, in medium mixing bowl; mix well.
    Spoon meat mixture into green pepper halves.
    Cover with wax paper.
    Microwave for 25 to 30 minutes on Medium-high (roast) or until meat is well done (about 140\u00b0).
    Top with shredded cheese and continue cooking on Medium-high (roast) until cheese is melted.
