Iowa Baked Pork Chops With Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 pork chops, sliced 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick (preferably 1 1/2 inches)
3 to 4 cans Bavarian sauerkraut (depending on how much guests can eat)
Preparation

Brown pork chops.
Sprinkle with salt.
Pour sauerkraut into large (at least 3 inches deep) casserole dish or pan which has been lined with aluminum foil.
Spread evenly and place browned chops over this layer of kraut.
Cover pork chops with additional kraut and cover with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.
