Fried Cheese Meltaways - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable oil
    1 c. biscuit mix
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 lb. cheese (your favorite kind)
Preparation
    Heat 2-inches of oil in fryer at 375\u00b0.
    Beat biscuit mix, egg and milk until smooth.
    Cut cheese into 3/4-inch cubes.
    Coat cubes lightly with dry biscuit mix.
    Insert fork or toothpick into each cube and dip in batter, coating completely.
    Fry a few at a time, turning carefully, until golden brown (1 to 2 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
    Makes 40 to 45.
