Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

2 1/2 qt. popped corn
1 c. walnuts, pecan halves, almonds or cashews
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
