World Famous Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1/2 c. margarine
    3/4 c. water
    1 pkg. dry onion soup
Preparation
    Cut washed, unpeeled potatoes in 1/4-inch slices.
    Melt margarine in water and add soup mix.
    Layer potatoes and liquid in a 2-quart casserole.
    Bake, covered, one hour at 350\u00b0.
    Will hold in warm oven indefinitely.
    Good the next day.
