Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water (boiling)
1/2 tsp. lemon rind, grated
3 eggs, separated
1/4 cream of tartar
6 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 pie crust, baked and cooled
Preparation

In saucepan mix first 3 ingredients over low heat.
Gradually add boiling water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is clear and thick.
