Baptist Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
5 medium eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
Preparation

Cream together shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each egg is added. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add to first mixture, alternating with milk until all is blended well. Add flavorings to mixture and blend again. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Pour in the mixture and place in a cool oven. Turn on heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand for 3 to 5 minutes before removing from Bundt pan.
