Banana Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    5 bananas
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    juice of 2 lemons
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water for 3 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Blend bananas until fine.
    Mix syrup, juices and bananas together really well. Pour into 1/2 gallon containers and freeze.
    When ready to serve, thaw slightly.
    Add 1 quart ginger ale for each 1/2 gallon of punch.
    Serves 50.
