Asparagus-Tomato Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon
    1/4 c. sliced onion
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. water
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. fresh asparagus, cut in 1-inch pieces
    2 medium tomatoes, cut in eighths
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; crumble.
    Add onion to skillet and cook until tender.
    Return bacon to skillet.
    Add vinegar, water, sugar and salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add asparagus; cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes over low heat.
    Add tomatoes; cover and cook for 3 minutes.
